Meeting at Shade Tree Tavern

Malcer Lynk Hornraven, Lorilon Duskwalker, Kosara Amakir, Ana Kinn, and Emmen gathered in the Shade Tree Tavern in Leilon. They sat at a sturdy table, observing the other patrons as the evening wore on. A human merchant named Temper Golakk approached their corner. He paused for a moment before addressing the group directly. Temper Golakk spoke to them, his voice low but clear over the tavern's background noise. He wasted little time on pleasantries. "I have a job, if you're interested," Temper Golakk said, looking from face to face. "There's a package I need retrieved from the Abandoned Leilon Mines." The adventurers considered the merchant's proposition. They decided it would be prudent to scout the mine's area before committing to the task. They soon exited the tavern, leaving the soft lamplight and clatter behind them. The group walked through the darkening streets of Leilon, heading towards the town's less populated edges. As Malcer Lynk Hornraven, Lorilon Duskwalker, Kosara Amakir, Ana Kinn, and Emmen neared the vicinity of the Abandoned Leilon Mines, a group of goblins appeared without warning. The creatures seemed to have been waiting in ambush. The goblins quickly advanced, their crude weapons drawn and their small bodies moving with surprising speed. They attacked the adventurers immediately. The party managed to fight them off and return for the night to rest in the inn.
