A Head for a Price

The fight against Goun continued, a persistent struggle. Goun called upon Thuun, a warlock aberration, to join the fray and assist him. Thuun manifested and engaged the party. The party focused their attacks on the newly arrived aberration. They fought methodically, pressing their advantage against Thuun until the warlock aberration fell. Goun reacted to Thuun's demise with a visible surge of desperation. He immediately advanced, moving directly towards the party. Goun challenged the party, daring them to face him without evasion.

The party was thrown into a flashback, finding themselves in the rebel base in Revilon one night, where General Taylor joined them. They had been strategizing all day and later celebrated their plans with drinks. Tasha entered the room, offering the party an alliance against Baba Yaga. She then presented Mycha's head to them. The party confronted Tasha, demanding to know how she had acquired the head, to which she explained that she had recovered it for them from the Warlock during the battle of Revillon, where Mycha had been decapitated by the Warlock. The party did not believe Tasha's account and refused her offer of alliance. Tasha then departed. After Tasha left, the party members contemplated their motivations. Sagiato considered his fight for "the cure for her." Weneon felt grateful that Kilijan and Manasa were present. Greg reflected on his resolve to retrieve what he had lost. Kilijan thought about the Capes of Leaves. Manasa grieved the loss of Melcior. In a separate scene, Tasha opened Mycha's grave. She reunited Mycha's severed head with his body. Tasha then performed a revival, bringing Mycha back to life. "Don't worry," Tasha told him, "you're with me now."
