Kilijan Mecha(Kilijan)

Kilijan was born on 20. 9. 825. in Kelwentown, a village in Tulmon, to Sirja, a human female, and Aran, a vedalken male. After his birth, his father left for the Sword Coast city of Murann, while his mother stayed behind, looking after the boy. Three years after his birth, Kelwentown was attacked by the Five Teeth of Garresh. Their goal was stealing an orb in the possession of the village. The group murdered the entire population of the village, but Kanvas Greywind, one of the generals, saw Kilijan and kidnapped him, for they had never seen a vedalken before. They took him to their hideout in the Cloven Mountains and started training Kilijan to become an artificer. The leader of the gang, an overweight dragon by the name of Garresh, didn't make much of the boy. However, his generals (at least four of them) grew found of him. One night, while Ratt the Mixer (a male ratfolk and one of the generals) was teaching Kilijan about the alchemist kit, he overheard Antja Lio, a female harengon and another general) about a portal to the shadowfell that opened up in Thornwood. Kilijan, never having forgotten what happened to his village, decided that night to retrieve the orb from his village. He snuck into the room where one of the generals, a dragonborn named Ferren, was praying upon the orb. Kilijan waited for Ferren to fall asleep, and took his chance to steal the orb. He ran down Coven Mountain, but was spotted by the general Drayd Storm, a male aarakocra. Kilijan could hear the generals and Garresh' army of kobolds chasing after him. He remembered at that moment about the portal and found it on hand of Antja's description. Kilijan threw the orb into the portal and jumped into the Thornwash River to escape. Kilijan was fished out of the water by pirates of Arabesk from Zakhara, one of the most famous smugglers in the region, who took him to their hideout, Torent. They kept him, so he could smuggle Makka for them from Ankhapur to Thur. Years passed and Kilijan and some other crew members, Kalena, Grenn and Jaida would spend their nights together, exchanging stories about fantastic places they heard about. Kalena, a pirate girl, would often tell a story about a magical forest that is inhabited by a slender animal, that could cure all diseases and even death. During one smuggling mission, their ship was attacked by the locale officials, who implemented a hippo-shaped ship that could sail underwater. Most of the crew got captured or killed. Kilijan managed to escape with Rextor Mirosh, the blind second captain on board, by deploying a metal bird that was part of the ship. They were launched into the air and landed on the shores of the Border Kingdoms. Tommen Tambouri, a weary traveler with a sunflower-decorated jacket, found Kilijan on the shores of Thur. He helped Kilijan by delivering him to his friend Mycha Ichtorius II, who could take care of him, before leaving for Dapplegate. After Kilijan woke up and Mycha explained to him what happened, Kilijan decided not to return to the pirates, and to start smuggling by himself. Mycha suggested that they first grab a drink in the One-Legged Donkey before making any hasty decisions.
