Burned Bridges

After having a lovely picknick with his sister Myscha Ichtorius, Mycha is called by his father to get ready for the arrival of some important guests to their home. Myscha leaves and Mycha tends to the stables before going into the house. There he discovers the aftermath of one of Myscha's experiemnts: a torn up carcass of a domestic cat. His father approaches and Mycha hides the scene from him. They talk for a bit and his father leaves. Mycha decides to clean up the mess after his sister.

While fighting off the fey archers in Vernes, the Uninvited make use of Weneons casting of darkness in a bottle. In the midst of the fight, Lorkhan casts a fireball that hits Atlas and knocks him unconsciousness. As they attempt to defeat the enemy army, Kilijan dies. Melcior runs up to him and revives him just as the last archers are defeated. Tiffiffanny takes Atlas hostage, threatening to kill him. Manasa approaches them and stabs his brother, injuring him mortally while telling him that he is not the brother he used to know.

The party decides to leave Vernes, but Melcior starts burning the village down. Kilijan and Weneon decline to be involved in that and leave, while Lorkhan, Manasa, and Mycha stay to finish the job. Vernes is burned to the ground as the party is rejoined near the entrance. They continue travelling with a sense of enormous friction among them, due to what just happened. They travel for a few hours, when they decide to take a short rest in a nearby forest.

Banshee banshe A banshee appears and attacks them. They gather the strength to fight it off and take notice of Vani, who asks them to join him in order to defeat a threatening entity nearby. The party agrees to this, and Vani warns them that this does not mean that he is absolving them of their sin and his revenge. They start travelling and see Amidor and Melcior in the distance, travelling towards Elminster's tower, as they have earlier anounced that they will part ways with the party.
