Synopsis

As the party journeys toward Silverfall, fractured memories, stolen equipment, and the haunting revelation of a forgotten ally force them to confront the growing mysteries of their past and the dangers lurking ahead in the blizzard’s shadow.

Ch. 1
Part 1: Rebuilding and Growth in Revillon
The party spends four months in Revillon, each carving a unique path as they strengthen the city's defenses and their own roles within it: Greg spearheads the restoration of the Temple of Silvanus, rekindling the faith and attracting pilgrims to Revillon. Despite resistance from the Eladrin authorities, his determination sways many, and the temple is reinstated. Greg takes on the role of cleric, supported by Rhiador, an elderly firbolg who arrives as a devoted priest. Mycha focuses on military preparation, training commoners into disciplined melee squads. He also establishes a formal company, appointing Alder Voss, an overly militaristic but well-meaning half-orc, as a commander. Manasa ventures into Hither and beyond, uncovering fragments of Melcior’s past. He learns from a cicada ranger about her mysterious arrival 80 years ago and her childhood memory of being on a swing—a clue that deepens the enigma surrounding her life. Weneon consolidates power as leader of the Little Thieves’ Guild, gathering enough stolen weapons to form a squad loyal to him. Kilijan scouts Revillon's outskirts for potential battlegrounds, discovering a swamp where wild magic surges affect those without authentic Revillon armor. During his investigations, he befriends Archy, a young tiefling and the city’s new Lead Archivist, who provides valuable insights.

Part 2: A Crime Scene and Rising Tensions
The night before the party’s planned departure to Silverfall, they attend a clandestine meeting with Frul and the resistance. On their way home, they find a large crowd gathered at a public court, drawn to a gruesome scene: a dead human lies in the center, clad in tattered clothes. Greg steps forward to help, but Torin, the fastidious Harengon captain of Revillon, intervenes, ordering Greg to step away. The rest of the party recognizes the human as being Aster. The situation escalates as Weneon tries to incite rebellion among the townsfolk, but Torin’s guards silence the crowd by killing a bystander. The mob disperses, leaving Greg and Kilijan powerless to act. After the guards depart, Greg revives the fallen commoner in secret, stunning the man with his divine power. Meanwhile, Manasa overhears Harengon guards at the Mrkvica tavern discussing a second human who fled the scene. Weneon and Mycha return home, where Weneon begins crafting a plan to retrieve the body of the deceased human, revealed to be Aster, a captain from Graviher. Tensions in Revillon rise as the party confronts the growing threat of the Harengon regime and the mysteries surrounding the strangers who arrived through the old teleportation circle.

Part 3: Divided for Safety
As the party regroups at their safe house, Manasa receives an urgent warning from Tamil, a young Dragonborn member of Frul’s resistance. Tamil advises them to split up for the night, as Torin is now aware of their presence and may retaliate. He provides a list of six safe house addresses. Manasa discreetly slips the note under the door for the others before heading to one of the locations himself. The party divides, each choosing a different address. That night, Greg is awakened by a knock on his window. Peering out, he sees a disheveled human man in torn clothing. Warily, Greg lets him in, only for the man to use a magical Cape of Leaves to steal Greg’s equipment. The stranger demands to see Kilijan, and Greg reluctantly leads him to Kilijan's safe house. Kilijan immediately recognizes the man as General Taylor, the captain who saved their lives in Graviher months earlier. Before Taylor can explain, he collapses. Kilijan examines his wounds and determines they were inflicted by an Amethyst Dragon days earlier. Greg confirms that such a dragon resides south of Brqua, and that its talons are needed to break Taylor out of his coma. As they tend to Taylor, a letter falls from his tattered clothing. It is addressed to Kilijan and signed by his father, Aran. In the letter, Aran reveals his guilt for failing to protect their village, explaining that he fled with the village’s treasure, believing Garresh’s army would follow him. Instead, they attacked the village and took Kilijan. The letter begs Kilijan’s forgiveness and urges him to find someone worthy of the Cape of Leaves, a family heirloom. Overwhelmed, Kilijan silently takes the letter and the cape.
Ch. 4
Part 4: Blizzard’s Rest and Lost Memories
The next morning, the party sets off for Silverfall, stopping at Blizzard’s Rest, an inn near the snow-covered village. As they push through a fierce blizzard, they encounter a blind Harengon who greets them with an unsettling friendliness. He hands them six tickets to a circus in Ceminevera before disappearing into the storm. Almost immediately, the party feels drained, realizing key pieces of their equipment are missing. Arriving at the inn, they are greeted by the innkeeper, who welcomes them back and asks about the package they were supposed to deliver to Silverfall. Confused, the party realizes they have no memory of ever staying at the inn. Exploring their rooms, they find unfamiliar gear, further deepening the mystery. Manasa discovers a bow and arrows in one of the rooms, along with a journal belonging to someone named Faeril Moonshadow. Reading the journal, the party is stunned to learn that Faeril was once a member of their group. The journal details their shared adventures, but none of them can recall her existence. As they grapple with this revelation, a member of the inn’s staff begins acting suspiciously. The figure reveals himself as Moroz, the arcanaloth shapeshifter. In a moment of raw emotion, he pleads with the party to rescue Faeril, whom he deeply mourns. He insists that he is not responsible for the theft of their equipment, but offers no further explanation. The party is left shaken, burdened by their missing memories, their stolen gear, and the looming questions surrounding Faeril’s fate. Their journey to Silverfall now holds even greater uncertainty.
