Trust Your Instincts

The party received news from Loop and Break, who informed them that Selena had arrived near Elminster's Tower. Selena, however, was quickly surrounded by the harengon forces in the vicinity. Selena managed to find refuge inside Bug. She remained there until the harengon armies reordered their ranks. The harengon then began their march towards Zovik. This shift in the harengon's movement provided Bug, Loop, and Break enough of an opening to make their escape. Selena subsequently rested from her ordeal, and the party eventually went to sleep.

The party began to hatch a plan to lead an expedition to the tower in the morning. Selena stated there was no time to lose. Kilijan attempted to kiss Selena, but the gesture backfired. Selena then left the group. Later, the party discovered that Selena had taken Bug, Break, and Loop, and they had already headed towards the tower without the rest of them. The party spoke to Taylor. Taylor again expressed his admiration for Selena's courage. He told the party that he had no need to tell them what to do, advising them to follow their instinct, which to this point, he added, "has never failed them... that much." Greg left to go to the battlefield. He intended to see if he could find more similar coins among the fallen harengon soldiers. There, Flora, the harengon leader, met Greg. Flora managed to pin Greg down and cut off his head. The party later received Greg's head. They decided to go after Flora and her forces to avenge Greg. The party left, entrusting their armies to Tamil and General Taylor. Tamil and General Taylor were instructed to follow with the armies in the morning. As the party rode towards the Tower, a figure stood in front of them. It was Mycha, ready once again to fight at their side.
