Landor Vani(Landor V.)

The human captain of the airship that wrecked in the Thur Mountains during Odd Wellcall's return voyage from Kara-Tur. Landor rescued Odd from the wreck; they fell in love and together founded the city of Brable beneath the mountains. When Omihi Duskwalker called Odd away on a quest tied to her missing brother Nill, Odd returned infected with something Malcer's Cape could not heal. Landor sought out the fey to save her — the fey tricked him, took his name, and twisted him into the immortal kenku known as Vani, retaining only a faint memory of what he sought. After the party banished the kenku spirit from his body, the dying Landor was buried with Odd in a small lake.
