Poem #1: The New Leaves(Poem 1)
In realms of shadow, where whispers blow,
Omihi, Lorilon's daughter, sowed a seed to grow.
The Soulmonger's call, a burden to bear,
New Leaves would gather, to conquer despair.
First, Adona, Darius' stepchild bold,
With Odd Wellcall, Even's sister, a story untold.
Sha Shou Ho, Raijin's fierce kin at her side,
And Arahna, love sworn, though fate would divide.
Spring's gentle touch, their journey began,
Old Luskan's ruins, secrets in hand.
Carac McKinnon's whispers, on parchment they found,
Legend of the Leaves, echoing all around.
Betrayal's sting, Gambino's deceit,
Vengeance they sought, with burning heat.
His isle beckoned, shadows deep and vast,
But emptiness reigned, a silence held fast.
Twisted forms lurked, Gambino's art,
Abominations torn apart.
Beneath the ground, secrets in stone,
Catacombs held souls, cries and moans.
Neverember, a name from the past,
A lord he claimed, memories recast.
His city unknown, lost in the haze,
Yet hope flickered bright, through whispered praise.
New Leaves emerged, with hearts so true,
Rescued the captives, their freedom anew.
In Phandalin's walls, the Villa's embrace,
They found a haven, a resting place.
Neverwinter's echoes, a familiar ring,
The lord recognized, but memories take wing.
From stories he hears, his past takes form,
A king reborn, amidst the storm.
So raise a glass, to the Leaves so bold,
Their tale unfolds, in legends of old.
For vengeance sought, brought forth new light,
And whispered truths, pave the path to right.
