Member ofThe Uninvited
John was born on 7. 8. 849. ASR in Thur to Lovella and Silvanus the Pillus. He never met his mother since she died in labor, so he was raised by his father, Silvanus. His father was a sea captain and later became an admiral in the city of Derlusk. Silvanus made a name for himself in the war between Derlusk and Luskan, while Luskan was still under pirate occupation, when he created a ship that travels under water, named Giff Ship, engineered by Bjorn Whitebeard, his right-hand man. Claiming the victory for Derlusk, Silvanus was promoted to admiral by the Thormund Greataxe, king of Blackburn, and Gnevius Pak, mayor of Derlusk. After the promotion, Silvanus started to focus on his ship Saint Lovella while John was mostly neglected by his father. One day, John overheard Gnevius making a deal with the pirates from Luskan to attack the city once again. However, when he reported this to his father, he didn't believe him, and John was sentenced to 20 years to be sent away into exile into Qush Forest for treason. Two years into his sentence, John started to lose his mind and started to believe that it was really him who was making the deal with the pirates. While walking in the woods one day, John came across a caravan in need of a bodyguard. John joined them. The caravan was attacked by a gang of bandits named Loctus. One of the members, a doumir named Ketojan van Sollivar, decided to betray them and help John save the caravan. After defeating the bandits, they travelled to Emrys. John and Ketojan lived in Emrys for two years, doing miscellaneous jobs around town and helping the people in and around the city. One day, he got an offer from a tabaxi traveler, who introduced himself as Rychain, to travel to Oeble and retrieve a package from the Hungry Haunting tavern and bring it to him in Great Oak. John and Ketojan accepted the offer and made their way to Oeble, stopping by at the Broker's Inn to get a rest.
