Back Into the Sewers

Malcer Lynk Hornraven, Lorilon Duskwalker, Kosara Amakir, Ana Kinn, Emmen, Gambino Marino, and Omihi Kakurenbo found themselves in an uncomfortable situation. They had caused damage to several rooms within the Cathedral of Helm's Hold. The paladin guards quickly took them into custody. The Orc Slayers were held for a short period before being brought before the paladins. The paladins made it clear that their recent actions in the Cathedral were unacceptable. After some discussion, the paladins presented a conditional release. They stated that the Orc Slayers would be freed if they agreed to address a different issue. The paladins reminded them of the cultists the Orc Slayers had previously encountered in the city's ancient sewer system. These cultists, whose hushed chants had been heard during their earlier explorations, continued to be a problem beneath Helm's Hold. The paladins declared that the Orc Slayers were expected to resolve this lingering cultist presence. Upon agreement to this condition, Malcer Lynk Hornraven, Lorilon Duskwalker, Kosara Amakir, Ana Kinn, Emmen, and Omihi Kakurenbo were released from custody. The group was now free, but with a specific task hanging over them. They needed to return to the dark, damp passages beneath Helm's Hold and deal with the cultists.
